హైదరాబాద్ సంస్థానంలో అవిచ్ఛిన్నంగా సాగిన దోపిడీ, దురంతాలపై స్వాతంత్రానికి పూర్వమే విప్లవ కవి, కమ్యూనిస్టు అగ్రనాయకుడు మఖ్దూం మొహియుద్దీన్ 'హైదరాబాద్' పేరుతో ఉర్దూలో ఒక పుస్తకం రచించారు. ఆనాడు జాగీర్దార్లు, దేశముఖ్లు, పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలు సాగించిన అరాచకాలు, దౌర్జన్యాలు, లూటీని రచయిత దీనిలో బట్టబయలు చేశారు. లాహోర్లో ముద్రితమైన ఈ పుస్తకాన్ని నిజాం సర్కారు నిషేధించడంతో ఇంగ్లీష్, తెలుగు మరియు ఉర్దూ పాఠకులకు కూడా అందుబాటులో లేకపోయింది. 

Before  Independence Makhdoom Mohiuddin, the revolutionary poet and communist leader wrote a book titled ‘Hyderabad’ in Urdu on the unbridled exploitation and atrocities which took place in Hyderabad Province. This book printed in Lahore was banned by the Nizam government and was not available to the English, Telugu and even Urdu reader. Makhdoom exposes the anarchy, tyranny and loot that prevailed under the regime of the landlords, deshmukhs and industrialists.  Do read this rare tract.
