Celebrating Dalit History Month, the Hyderabad Book Trust presents an eye opening \naccounts of history of dalit movements in India. This series comprises of two important \nbooks Dalit Panthers Charitra by JV Pawar and Master Key : Uttara Bharatana \nNoorendla Dalita Samajika Rajakeya Udyamalu. Both these well researched works \nintroduces the twists and turns of dalit movements, politics of dalit movements in two \nimportant states Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Both also presents an interesting \nparallel between two streams of Dalit movement one aimed at securing power and other \nfocused on large scale social change. A combined reading of these two will pave way \nfor consolidation of two streams of dalit activity.
