His sources are unimpeachable. This was first published in 1987, many years after Ambedkar’s death and resulted in riots led by the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. \nAuthor: Bhimrao Ambedkar, (1891-1956) fondly called Babasaheb, was a jurist, economist, politician and social reformer, who inspired the Dalit Buddhist movement and campaigned against social discrimination towards the Dalits. He was independent India's first Minister of Law and Justice, and the chief architect of the Constitution of India. \n \nTranslators : Bojja Tharakam and Dr. B. Vijayabharathi \nBojja Tharakam (1939-2016) was a writer, senior lawyer, civil rights and dalit rights activist. He founded the Dalit Mahasabha \nDr. B. Vijayabharathi retired as the director of the Telugu Academy in Hyderabad. She is a prolific writer and commentator.
