Dalit Women Biographies,(set of four Books),Marie-Therese Cuny &Paul Rambali, V.Sriram, Gogu Shyamala

The Hyderabad Book Trust celebrating Dalit History Months through our April 2021 and
decided to present for the first time a series of books at one place covering biographies
of women activists, social reformers and first generation feminists from Dalit Bahujan
Communities. This series comprises of Nenu Phulan Devini, as told to Marie Therese
Cuny, Paul Rambali, Ma Amma Boi Nagaratnamma Gnapakalu by B Vijiyabharathi,
Benguluru Nagaratnamma by Sriram V and Nene Balanni : Life story of TN
Sadalakshmi by Gogu Shyamala. This series covers about hundred and fifty years
history of women activity in India covering as diverse personalities as possible from first
generation feminist to first generation women politician from Dalit community to a bandit
queen. This diversity presents an important occasion to study interaction between
different dynamics of society and social structure towards women.
