Celebrating Dalit History Month, the Hyderabad Book Trust brings to you a set of four
books under Dalit Historiography series. All these four books are by eminent
progressive historians who dedicated their lives to study Indian history from alternative
perspective.
This series comprises of Hindu Samrajyavada Charitra by Swami Dharma Tirtha,
Shudravarnam Ela Puttindi by RS Sharma, Devuni Rajakeeya Tatvam by K Ialaih and
Madi Vippina Charitra by Braj Ranjan Mani. The reader will be handheld through the
alternative history and sources of alternative history starting from pre vedic period to
vedic period to modern era and dissects the encounters between State, Religion and
Society in governing and structuring social life. Each book is of its own historical
standing
